How I Learned Web Development

I didn’t learn web development through a perfect roadmap.

There was no point where I knew exactly what I was doing. I mostly learned by getting curious, breaking things, getting stuck, and figuring out why they broke.

I started with the basics. HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Then came React, Next.js, databases, APIs, authentication, deployment, and all the other things that seemed confusing at first.

The biggest shift happened when I stopped trying to just learn and started building.

I built small things. Then bigger things. I made mistakes, rewrote things, searched for answers, and occasionally stared at an error for way too long.

Eventually, I started building real websites for real people. That's when development started feeling different. Suddenly, it wasn't just about making something work. It had to be reliable, fast, responsive, and actually useful.

I still don't know everything. I probably never will.

But that's one thing I like about web development. There's always something new to figure out.

I’m still learning, still building, and still breaking things.

Just with slightly better error messages now.
